Bookkeeping is a rewarding career path and the field is constantly growing. A bookkeeper does everything from maintaining financial records, to problem solving and being able to account for transactions and keep a set of books is a skill always in demand.

    Every business needs someone to look after the books, from big industry leaders, to a local shop - they all need someone with bookkeeping skills.
  • Flexible

    Many bookkeepers can work flexibly, working around their own lives. If you only want part time or contract hours to fit in with family life, you can.
  • Organised

    Most bookkeepers don't have to worry about multitasking. You will have one job to do and to prioritise accordingly. If you're super organised you might find bookkeeping is the career for you.
  • Rewarding

    You can stay as a bookkeeper, or you can advance your career and become an accountant or auditor, or you might even find yourself as a CFO in the future!
